There are multiple options in Revit depending on the use of the word "profile". Here are there relative directory locations in the Revit family libraries.

  1. There are detail elements for structural steel angles as the "L" shaped profiles. They can be found in the "Detail Items | Div 05-Structural Steel | 05120"
  2. There are 3d structural steel elements. They can be found in the "Structural Framing | Steel | M_L-Angle.rfa" ;
  3. There are 2d Revit profile families. They can be found in "Profiles | Framing | M_L-Angle-Profile.rfa"

You just need to go to the Insert tab and select the load the family type you need.

Hope this helps,

C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\RVT 2020\Libraries\US Imperial\Profiles\Framing\Steel

depending on which system you are using Imperial or Metric this is based on Windows file structure
