Key schedule for spaces - cannot select dropdown in schedule, but can in properties

I have a space schedule and a key schedule. Normally I can select the dropdown in the schedule and it pulls the data from the key schedule. but now when I try that, no dropdown shows up:

I tried copying the schedule, renaming the parameter and so on to no avail. but when I pick the space in a plan view, in properties I can select the dropdown:

This almost looks like a bug. I have R2024.1.1.

Did anyone observe such misbehavior? In this project I also have other key schedules, I just haven't gotten to the point that they are filled. So, I don't know yet if just this schedule is impacted.

Bug? Or am I doing something wrong? I found an old thread with similar issue (but no solution)

Your schedule of spaces seems to have a filter. Does the issue happen when the schedule is showing all the spaces or only when it is showing one row only, like that?

Removing the filter just shows the addl. space and sets that to "none" selected. No dropdown for that as well. It still lets me select in "properties", though

since that addl. space wasn't "placed". I removed that row, to no avail. This scenario also lets me select from the dropdown in "properties".

Really odd since it kind of works, but only in properties palette, but not the schedule.

Uncheck Include Linked elements.

That was the problem! Thanks!

I don't really use linked models. I checked other schedules, and none of them had that checked. Maybe I just accidentally checked that...
