hello, I'm in the learning phase of revit, and I came across a small problem you could help me out.

I have a wall whos edge is saltted, and its connected to a sloped roof.
I'd like to know if there's a way to "trim" or "fillet" the excess part of the wall so it would allign to the direction of the roof.

  • From a 3d view, use the Set tool to set the side face of the roof as the current workplane.
  • Then use architecture > Component > Model In-Place > Void Forms > Void Extrusion > category : Walls > (give it a name)
  • In the sketch of the extrusion, create a rectangle that is wide enough, long enough, to cover the height and width of the wall and beyond.
  • Finish the extrusion.
  • Using the grip arrows, adjust the size of the void box so that it is deep enough to cut the wall as required.
  • Then do Cut > Geometry. Select the positive (the wall), then select the negative (the void).
  • Finish the  Model In-Place.
