Kimberly: I don't know if you can let the powers that be know. But it would be essential for Autodesk to COMMMIT to have those add-ins ready when a new version is released.
Autodesk wants us to use them (I suppose), but they also are interested in us upgrading to new versions of Revit.
We spend a lot of time using/learning/adapting to new features. and then puff, they disappear. Or not, or maybe come back, or maybe not. And will they come for R2026? Who knows.... it may as well be that Autodesk doesn't even know if it comes back for R2026, and if so, when?
I had tried the issues add in early days, but it wasn't great. Then I tried it later, and it got better. but then it disappeared. Once it comes back, I have no idea if I should invest any time in it, because I have no idea if it will be a feature in the future, or not. I also have no idea if it will be useful or not - hard to test a feature that isn't available.
I just want Inform everybody that the Issue Addon is finally here, you will find it under manage.autodesk.com => Revit => Extensions
Thank you, @marcelludwig ! I was just coming here to say that! Huzzah!!
Did someone else get an issue after installing add-in and execute Revit 2025?
It's necessary to download and install IFC v25.4 add-in.
Kimberly: is there a commitment to publish the R2026 issues add-in faster?
I like to see if this (R2025) issues add-in is useful to us. but i don't want to add it to my workflow if it doesn't come for future Revit versions.
Solved, there is a conflict with an other addin.
I have an issue with the update of the addin v7.0 in R22:
Any ideas?
We've still got the annoying situation that the addin doesn't use shared coordinates for push-pin placement. I've just placed a push pin in a revit file using 7.0.2....viewing the issue in the ACC viewer and it's in the wrong place!!!
Update:
Seems to be in the wrong place if I go Design Collaboration > Issues and click on the issue to open the viewer.
Seems to be correctly location from Docs>Issues>Issue then clicking the model link in the issue appear correctly located.
