Yes, the fonts have been reset to Arial and there was not style overrides.

Any conversions from Revit will result in the mess.

Yes we have installed fonts ... not just copied.

i think we actually pinpointed issue to the specific screen resolution of QHD 3440 x 1440" witch is specific to the Dell 34" U3415W monitor.

Changing restitution and restarting Revit fixes the issue like magic.

Interesting find! I guess you have stumbled on a new bug that I hope the Revit dev team is aware of.

Thank you for letting us know!

@ryan.duell  .... this one is for you 🙂

Ahhhh... after actually buying exact monitor or Engineers using () and borrowing one VM from Engineer who is having issues, I have discovered that even with latest December NVIDIA drivers do not correct issue. After checking every hay in this messy haystack, my heart skipped a beat when i discovered that Horizon agent on the VM was running old version and my Horizon client on my Laptop was running 5.3.0 built - 15208953 (latest and greatest)....

SO after removing GPU... rebooting .... uninstalling 2 Horizon connection apps, with reboot every **** time.... and installing newest Horizon (VMware-Horizon-Agent-x86_64-7.11.0-15238678 and VMware-Horizon-Agent-Direct-Connection-x86_64-7.6.0) again with 2 reboots, and adding GPU back to VM again. OMG there was like 6 reboots ... the issue is FIXED!!!!!

I'm running 3440x1440 native at 60Hz with no issues plotting or PDF converting.

DO NOT forget to update User's desktop/laptop to latest Horizon Client!

Now I just have to do it 100 times ... so.... 600 reboots ... lovely!

I'm in the "nothing in this thread worked for me" camp*.  However, for the developers A) just put it back to the way it was before 2016 already!!  and B) for what it's worth, the text in dimensions, and schedules seems immune to this problem but all the other text is crap.  For real, Autodesk... this problem is now 4 years old, come on!

*The problem is non-existent on my Windows 7 x64 machines, printing pdf's work just fine.  Opening the same file, or others in Win 10 is a disaster, unprintable.

Things I've tried:
Reloading/updating all the drivers
Re-installing all pertinent software, including the OS
Setting multiple monitors to the same scale
Disconnecting multiple monitors, so there is only one
Installing/uninstalling fonts + using different fonts + changing the names of fonts to trick windows
Updating Revit from 2018 to 2018.2 (I'm not going to update it again until this is fixed)

Probably 20 more things that I can't remember at the moment...

I want to take a closer look. Would you be willing to join me and a few others from our support team for a screenshare?

Would you be willing to look at mine? I have four people with all the same issue and no resolution in sight.

I was having another issue with Bluebeam yesterday and the fix may have caused this font problem to happen to me today.  Either way, this is what I did today and it fixed the problem.  Go to 'Bluebeam Adminitrator 2019'. Allow changes to be made to the devise.  Select the 'Printer' tab.  Select 'Stop' and then 'Restart' the 'Port Monitor'.  Click 'Apply' and 'OK'.  It worked for me.

I'm not a computer tech.  However, the error may have been caused by disconnecting my laptop for a day and running Revit without my double screens.  The error occurred when I reconnected to my double screens.

Not a solution to the error but this will give you at least a basic PDF without any Graphic issues.

Revit - Print -> then click on Properties Then Advance then Disable "Advanced Printing Features".

Hope it helps 🙂

I also have starting seeing this problem.  It just started about a week ago with a recent update. I can share PDF's if there is a developer curious of what they issue does for me.

This resolved my issue, with no visible downgrade to the quality of the pdf!

I ran into this today. Everything on screen looked fine.  Turns out it was a font issue, not a Revit issue.  I just uninstalled the font, reinstalled it (for all users) and everything worked fine.
