Hello,
I encountered a problem when trying to delete a material in the material browser in the Revit model. First, it gave me the warning at the bottom right corner of the screen as shown:
When I tried to "Save File and Continue", the same error massage appeared, and when I tried to save a recovery file by clicking "Yes", it failed to save the file.
When I chose 'continue with save', I couldn't sync with the central file, note on the screen said 'An unrecoverable error has occurred.'
Is there any way to remove the material from the model without constantly crashing?
Background information: I run an audit on the same revit file and it shows that it contains many missing elements. I tried following the instruction from here:
http://help.autodesk.com/view/RVT/2018/ENU/?guid=GUID-9AFAAE6B-4107-4478-8B80-53467FE118DB
but failed to locate the missing elem, so I am manually identifying the problematic elements in the model.
Thank you in advance.
It looks like it is used somewhere in the model. I can't get rid of it by purging unused, unfortunately. Trying to go through all the potential families that could have used it. It has been slow and painful.
