Issue with central model schedule fields from linked models

Hi all,

I attempted to add simple text instance parameters to door families within multiple linked models so that when I created a door schedule within the central I could use that parameter as a field.

After saving, syncing with central, reloading link all of that multiple times. Even closing down revit and reopening the parameter I just created within the door family doesn't

 appear in the field list within the central model. Below is a pic of the parameter I created. I wasn't sure what other info may be needed. So let me know what else might help

You need to add shared parameters to the families in order to show them in schedules.
