Hello!
There is a problem with the Align tool. When I align one line, then another line moves! And when I align the other back to it's original position, then the first line moves!
I created a video of this issue:

This issue is in Revit 2020 and also on in the past 5 (at least) versions of Revit.
The problem occurs in Sketch mode when lines in the are in diagonal.
Does anybody have this aligning problem also?
Don't use align... just move it or re-draw it... not a solution, but it will keep your working. If you find a real solution I hope you will report your findings here. Good luck!
I find this problem occurs most frequently when the boundary was drawn with the "pick line" tool.
If you lock an alignment to one of the reference planes of the wall, it should follow with better consistency.
Try using the "lock" checkbox when using the pick line tool.
Thank You for the answers. I wasn't using Pick Lines tool when I created the lines. Today I stumbled on that problem again. The solution is when I delete one segment and then redraw it. This issue is very annoying. Should I report this issue to Autodesk as a bug?
I made a video of today's issue:

There is more mystical about that command:

For an industry that relies on accuracy this needs fixing. It's been a problem for as long as I know in Revit. Trying to do areas and it`s a critical tool that does not work. Makes the user grossly inefficient at their job.
