Isolating wall type in a linked model

Hello. Can anyone advice me, please, how to isolate a wall type on a linked model- want to see just the concrete walls from it. I assume that this can be done only through Visibility Overrides, because I can't 'select instances'. Thank you in advance.

Just for info- all the walls are under 'walls' category- I cant isolate them by 'structure'. Thank you.

Maybe there is something I did not get...you can set and tweak several things to filter the linked model but if it is a structural model you are linking why not go to that model filter out the non-structural elements there and have it linked in as a proper structural model?

You can do it using view filter. You can isolate the types you want to override/hide ie.
Create view filter in linked model, hide the filtered elements, select all hide in view, unhide filtered elements, set the view to by linked model in your model selecting this view setting... that should work.

Thank you for your answer. Its not a structural model- it's a linked architectural model of a floor that multiplies in the main model. I want to see just the concrete walls on a certain view, but its complicated because cant use the 'select instances' command.
