Is it possible to create a void in wall sweep?

I want to create a void in a wall sweep that's placed on top of normal wall. I've tried some generic objects for cutting normal walls and a model-in-place component with a void form but none of these options works.

Is it possible to create a void in a wall sweep?

If you create a void in-place, you do have to cut the geometry before finishing the model within the in-place editor.
Wait you meant cutting just the sweep... that changes things somewhat I think, perhaps model the sweep in-place (or as family) also?

I would use a "void in a face based family" or a line based with both sweep and voids... which one can load and cut with.

If you modeled the sweep using In-Place then you would need to model both Sweep and Void within the same In-Place and use Cut before you finish the In-Place element.

- Start In-place component

- create sweep and finish it

- do not finish In-place component

- create void extrusion and finish it

- use cut

- Finish In-place component

Yes, exactly, I'm just trying to cut the sweep.

Do you mean that I should try a different approach altogether, and maybe not integrate the sweep in the wall to begin with?

Yes, that's probably the way to go. See above by @RDAOU

Thank you!

This works, maybe it was my original approach that hindered me. I wanted a default sweep when placing the wall but that sweep wasn't possible to modify to my liking.
