Is it possible to control the Visibility Graphics within a plan region?

I'm hoping there is a way to control what model categories are visible within a sub region of a plan.

I have a filled region at my building's footprint that is essentially being used to mask building elements on my site plan.  However, we want to see some model categories at the building footprint, for instance planned roof lines and existing trees to be removed.  This makes a simple masking region not useful.  It also means that adjusting the view range with a plan region will not completely solve the problem because I wouldn't be able to see existing trees.

I wish there was a way to have a masking region that would only mask certain model categories.
Let me know if I am missing something here.  I really hope there is a way to do this.  Otherwise, this might become more of a feature request.

I was a bit "short" with my response, sorry. You could create a selection set of elements you need to manage in that "region" so you could then use some sort of override on their graphics either via right click > override or perhaps set up a filter to manage them. It's also possible to create another view of that region, edit the crop boundary, alter the graphics and then "stack" that view on top of the other on a sheet. How successful that would be ... results may vary 🙂

The stacked views idea works!  Thank you!  I am able to make a new view with the crop boundary the exact shape of the building footprint and overlay the view onto my site plan.
Its a bit strange that I can't make the annotation crop a complex shape just like the crop region, but this point can be overlooked.

A filter selection of objects would not work because I have some objects that cross over the building footprint and need to change visibility when they cross the boundary (i.e. the Toposolid).  So I would really want the contours to turn off underneath the building footprint.
