Intersection when pointing/moving

Hi!

I'm trying to move the plan I'm working on to align with the grid guide. The moving part or grid/guide is not the issue for this thread (I think), and watching a tutorial (cred to TPM Solutions on Youtube), it show their pointer marks out what the Intersection is between two lines in the plan.

What can I do to make it does on my computer? Because it dosen't and I don't know how to fix it.

Many thanks

Thanks!!!
For clarification, ticked or unticked?
Also I wonder, how much should the plan should be selected? Only once or twice?

Unticked.  That will be the default condition until you change it.

Are you saying that you cannot align the x,y Grid Intersection in the View to the Grid Guide on the Sheet using the Move tool?

Sorry - the image is a screenshot from a youtube video and is not mine. All I'm wondering is how to get that white box "Intersection" to appear when hovering above an intersection such as when two lines in a plan meet.

Here a link to the video btw: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lfBC6lQUUHQ

Thanks

You need two intersecting grid lines or reference planes in the view, in order to snap their intersection to the sheet's guide grid.

Right-Click and press Deactivate View.

....just to be clear, you are on a Sheet with Grid Guide Activated and you have placed a View containing Grids on that Sheet.  Is this correct?

Thanks.
I found thought that the view was already Deactivated.
Not sure if I should have had the mouse on/over something specific when doing so though

Edit: Yes, that is correct.

That totally makes sense I looks like the solution but I tried on my computer, however, unsuccessful, which was surprising.

I've noticed the other messages such as "Nearest" comes up when I hover over a drawing. However, that was in another file, not sure if something's possibly wrong with the one I'm working in

Thanks anyway

Addition: this is what is looks like when I right-click on the move button (regardless if I have the object to move

You need to press Move and then hover your mouse cursor over the sheet near the intersection you want to snap to - and then right-click to select the Snap Override.
