Integrating 2 projects together

We have a main house project and a separate detached ADU project that is linked in. Both structures will be applied for under the same permit so all the plans need to be together. For example the sheets need to be

A2.1 - House Level 1 Floor Plan

A2.2 - House Level 2 Floor Plan

A2.3 - House Roof Plan

A2.4 - ADU Floor Plans

A2.5 - ADU Roof Plan

Currently we are planning on creating blank sheets with the names we need for the ADU stuff so the sheet schedule is right, then using a pdf tool to put the sheets together. But is there a better way to do this?

You can create a sheet list that includes those in a linked file (on option in the schedule's Fields tab). The best integration of model and data (Revit's purpose/goal) is within the same model for each building. Do all the documentation you can do in each model/building and do composite (both buildings like site plans) documentation in one or the other. It will also be easier to do individual building documentation in their own files because your buildings are not at the same elevations.
