Hello,

When I look at your error message the first thing that comes to my mind is: Proxy settings in your browser. This is also the easiest part that may solve this issue.

If you go to the proxy settings (IE = tools menu -> Internet options -> Connections tab -> LAN settings) you get a new window, where you have to click 'advanced'.

In this window you see: Servers    and      Exceptions.

At Exceptions you may add (copy) the following text:

*.autodesk.com; *.google-analytics.com; *.cloudfront.net; *.virtualearth.net; *.autocadws.com; *.newrelic.com; *.akamaiedge.net; *.amazonaws.com; *.getsatisfaction.com; *.autodesk360.com; *.skyscraper.autodesk.com;

After this, try to instal Revit 2017 again.

If not you can also try the following solution that is posted about a similar issue, when stuck at downloading material library.

Would like to hear if this solved the problem.

Best regards,

Hi @Anonymous

Welcome to the community!

If the above-mentioned suggestions did no resolve your issue, I can strongly refer you to THIS SOLUTION. I used this method myself before when I had issues with my content libraries - which for the life of me just did not want to install. It is something funny with the MasterXML files.

This can all be found in the link which I provided along with step-by-step instructions.

I hope this helps! Smiley Happy
