insert Turnstile door

Hi, i downloaded an Turnstile door (see attached) but while inserting in floor plan it does not stand up only lies on it side. strange isn't it

any solution?

I don't have Revit at the moment so I can only guess it is a face based family and when you insert it you didn't change the host to a horizontal face (floor) so it was hosted to a vertical face.

When you are placing it, look at the right side of Option bar below the Ribbon. There are Vertical face highlighted as the default, Face, and work plane. You can pick either Face or Work plane.

When you try to place it in the project, do you have "Placement" options (located on the Option Bar) - "Place on Work Plane", "Place on Face", "Place on Vertical Face'?
