No. This is a typical example of where Revit does not do Multiple Selections (which I put in the Ideas Section).

You could use the button next to it "Manage Images", to load multiple images at once. However you still would need to to use the "Place Instance" function for each image

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.

I will just have the file explorer on the side and drag those images into the view or sheet one by one.

Boy, you must have a lot of images in your Projects if you are looking for a batch load utility.  You might want to look at Dynamo.

Opennthe image folder next to revot, highlight a bunch and drag them onto the Revit view. It may work.

Hi,

it seams "drag and drop" image doesn't work even for one picture!

Could there be a workaround beside "Dynamo"?

Regards!

It does work but only one by one unfortunately. I just tested it.

@ToanDN

How did you manage to drag and drop a picture? It does not work on my PC!

Regards!

@L.Maas solution worked perfect for my situation (existing condition pics for almost 200 security cameras).

And in 2021 it defaults to link reference type. Not too shabby. Not obvious or purpose built for the workflow but it definitely works!
