imprted symbols not showing in properties menu

When I load in a symbol family, it doesn't show in the properties menu. screencast recording for reference

try to go to your project browser > families and search for the family, drag and drop. and see if helps.thanks

is this a revit family? share some sample here so we can check. thanks

If is not a Revit family, it's nothing, it's just a few lines to revit and no applicable properties of information that Revit will recognize. Thanks

Thank you for the quick response. It is family file, I have used it in several project. 

The problem has been solved. As Revit acted as if it was loaded in, I checked for it, and it was in project browser, just without the actual symbol.

So had to delete it and reload
