Hi @Anonymous

Welcome new visitor! Thanks for posting on the Revit Architecture forumSmiley Happy

We need to look for a common file format that can be an intermediate between the STL import to Revit.

Currently, Revit can import dwg, dxf, ifc, sat, skp and dgn.

We have converters that convert STL to DWG and then you can link/import the dwg in Revit. Alternatively, you can convert the STL to a solid file using Inventor, then follow the inventor to Revit workflow.

Hope that helps!

Alternative (and easier in my opinion, depending on your use case) workflow:

Open STL in Navisworks Manage. This will automatically create an NWC which can be imported as a coordination model in Revit. Make sure the scale/rotations/etc are what you want them to be because NWCs are not super friendly to transforms like this in Revit.
