Imported IFC problem

Hi,

I have a question about Revit. Im importing a IFC file to Revit. The IFC file is made from Archidat. I need to give some collors to the objects in the file. These are the staps i take. Opening revit with a standard architectural file, open the IFC file with an plug-in then when the IFC file has been loaded, I go to manage and select paint. I choose a collor and I try to paint a object. But this dont work. 

Can someone help me with this problem?

First open it with Navisworks to Edit Colors before import in Revit.
