Import fbx file in revit

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hi,

I'm pretty new in revit. I have fbx that created from infraworks, and need to open it in naviswork.

How I can open fbx file in revit? To which format file I should convert so Revit can open the fbx file? I need to assign reference coordinate to fbx file before I open in navisworks.

Thanks
Dana

Here is another workaround: use BenderBIM and BlenderGIS (Open Source) to create and manipulate FBX. Assign the .fbx files afterwards in Autodesk Navisworks (fbx still supported) Then can use the .nwd or .nwc in other Autodesk software like Revit and AutoCad. Maybe they forgot to remove it from Navisworks, so i don't hope to wake them up and this wayaround will stay a while..

@martinbrownomo Navisworks is a model review and coordination software that is used for clash detection in models.
