If I change the roof color, will the energy analysis differ based solely on the change in roof color?

I built a building and changed the roof color to red, black, and white. Will the energy analysis generate different results?

If you put the work in to set everything up correctly then yes, that capability does exist.

 

You must have the Energy Settings configured correctly (to use Building Elements) and the advanced "Other Options" settings set properly:

And you are "changing color" by applying different materials to the surface layer of the roof, and you know and have applied the correct "Thermal" properties to the material with a Thermal Asset, then yes, it is possible.

But it may not be very practical and/or have a sufficient impact to make it worth it given all of the other things that you have to do to make these settings come into play for the project as a whole.
