I need to change line weight of a specific part of an object

Hi,
How can I change the line weight of this column in the parts which are circled in the picture to match the line weight of the walls next to it?

Note: I don't want to change the whole column's line weight. Only these parts.

Zoom to Fit.  Still bother you?   I'm betting not.  If I zoomed in that close to most anything in a my views and turned off Thin Lines, I would undoubtedly see the same thing.
