How to Unjoin a roof

The Autodesk knowledge base article for joining/unjoining a roof advises the user to select the join/unjoin roof tool. That's it. It doesn't tell you what to do with it. Anyone have any ideas on how to unjoin a roof?

Maybe you are thinking of something else. Join and Unjoin tool (Modify tab) is for joining a roof to another roof.  There are only two conditions: Joined and Not Joined.

The knowledge base article states "You can join roofs to other roofs or walls, or unjoin them if they were previously joined." Great. How do you unjoin them?

Use the tool and pick the intersection (e.g. valley) where they are joined.
