Title says it all. I have a bunch of openings that keep showing up on my schedule.

They're not tagged but it still counts them..

Thanks,

an idea

Add a comment "Door Opening" to them either using comment parameter or Type comments.

then in the schedule filter by comment not equal to "Door Opening"Annotation 2020-01-06 211245.png

Shows on door schedule because it has been modeled as a door family.

You have several options:

  • Change the category of the Opening Family to something different than Door Family (use generic if you use that family for various types of openings ex: pipe openings, shaft openings...etc)
  • Leave the opening as a door family and add a Yes/No parameter to it which you can check on and off either by instance or by type then use it to filter schedule
  • Use designated "Type Mark" and filter the schedule
  •  or add a comment or any custom parameter as suggested by @MostafaElashmawy  (I prefer to keep comments for other purposes though)

You can create a yes/no project parameter "include in schedule" for your door category and filter this similar as done above with comments, except it will leave comment field open for other uses, ie. comments.
