How to model this desk?

Hi there, 

Trying to model this desk in place however I am having trouble creating the curves.  Does anyone have an idea as to what steps should be taken to make this?  The right side does not just drop straight down, it is supposed to curve similar to the left side.  The whole desk is rounded as well.

I would first model extrusions in floor plan, just the general shape. Then subtract parts with sweeps.
