How to make tapered beam?

I have a sloping beam which I need to taper at one end. Would be lovely to just have a built in parameter that can change the depth of a beam. Any suggestions? Here is an image of what I'm trying to do

Edit the out of the box family, it's probably a sweep. Explore how and where the path and profile is locked and delete the original beam completely. Replace it with a swept blend with added parameter for tapered height, from where you want to measure it.

I made this one (attached), explore it and see if you can apply it to the beam that you use.

Are we talking about a beam?  Make the yz justification independent and change the z offset value.

A beam in arch revit. Changing the z offset value just changes the height not the depth

You could model the beam using a Roof or Floor with variable thickness and Modify Sub-Elements.

...you could even get there with a Wall and Attach Top/Base - using Ref. Planes as target.

- If it is a wood or concrete beam (solid), just use a deeper beam and cut it with Opening by face tool.

- If it is a steel tube beam (hollow), either model it as a custom family with a blend, or model in place with a blend

Hello, I think the Swept Blend is the best way to create a Tapered Beam family.
Here is one I made for a concrete structure, you just need to change the profiles and the materials in order to create any type of tapered beam you want.
