Glazing in custom door sidelite not showing correctly in floor plans!

Hi all,

I created this door family that includes a sidelight, the family is a door family that has the sidelight as a window family nested within the door family.

Graphically everything is fine in family editor's floor plan views in both families and in the main model where the door family is loaded, the door it self looks fine and the mullions for the sidelight look fine as well, the only thing is the glazing doesn't show up in the floor plans. I've tried everything from changing every view related setting in the floor plans, double check the visibility graphics for both families making sure everything is set to show, and the family property for both families are set to "show" as well.

I have included couple images below, if anyone can help me that be great.

I think the issue is within the family. When you open the window family, it's possible there's a nested family inside. Select the window and check in the Properties palette or in the 'Visibility/Graphics Overrides' dialog whether the visibility checkboxes are enabled. If the 'When cut in plan view...' option is greyed out, there's a nested family involved. The same applies to that nested family. Reload the nested family into the main family, and then reload the main family into the project. If all goes well, the window should now be visible.

I've checked every aspect of both family and everything seems like they should work fine. There is no nested family inside the window family as I started it as a new window family and built the glazing/frames using forms (extrusion), the visibility for all parts of the window are set to Show in all views and detail levels and even the "When cut in Plan/RCP" is checked as well. I then loaded the window family into the door family, in the door's reference plan the window shows perfectly fine, but once its loaded in the project the glazing doesn't show, if you hover over it you can see the "ghost" lines for the glazing. So far the only thing that works is to change the overall views "Show Hidden Lines" Graphics setting from "By Discipline" to "All", but then that breaks the rest of the view 😭

How about check the view range?

The "window" should be cut by the view cut plane so that it can show above the wall in your view.

Yup, already tried that as well, changed the cut plane to a few different heights even to where it would cut the glazing exactly in half and still nothing. I suspect the problem is that the frames and glazing are coming from a nested family within the door family but the weird thing is the frames are showing fine, but just not the glazing 🤔
