How to make a chain link fence?

Hi again,

In the attachement there is a fence I need in revit. I can find the fence as an fence with a plate and that plate has a pattern what looks like the pattern of the fence I need.

But I need it in place of that plate. In the other photo you can see what I tried/managed has someone an idea how I can make it work?

It looks like you are looking to create a "chainlink" fence. There is not a specific tool that will make that kind of element, but there is an older post covering some possible method you can use to make a chainlink fence.

You could just save off this LOD for Realistic/Rendered Views and use a crosshatch pattern at other Visual Styles.

Use a material. Ste the surface pattern to model pattern, give it some transparency, set the appearance to use one of the Revit's Appearance Library > Sitework: chainlink fence material asset.
