How to keep hidden elements hidden only while reopening the same file?

Hello People,

While workimng on different facades, sections or plans one need to keep certain elements hidden for good. But my problem is as soon as I save and close the file and open it again, everything just shows up again, very irritating.

How can I hide elements for good ?

Hope the question is clear, for ex. a certain tree has to be hidden in just one of the elevations but not in plan or section or other elevations. But as soon as i save the file and close eveything and open the project again, its standing there and so i have to use a lot of time on hiding things once again.

Anyone, thanks for helping

I would set up a filter for the elements that you dont want to see and apply them to that view, that is the best way to pick and choose what you want to show, across various categories.

Hey,

Use the command "Hide elements". It will hide the elements permanently on the view. To do it, select the elements and use the shorcut "EH".

I hope it helps,

Kind regards.

You may be hiding with the Temporary Hide tool (shortcut HH).
With this tool, there is a cyan bar around the view.

To stay permanently, use the Hide Element tool (Shortcut EH).

What version of revit do you use? I remember that in some very old versions like 2014, even EH, it ended up getting lost when restarting the file.

EH isn't working properly by me. After reopening the project, elements hid with EH are still visible.

I'm working with Revit 2022. In Revit 2019 version EH works fine.
