How to Import RTC 360 Scan into Revit

Hi folks

I'm a teacher trying to keep up with the world of 'Digital Construction' Can some one help me understand how to import into Revit a scan carried out on a Leica RTC 360? I would be very grateful if you can explain the file formats and additional software required. Thanks

I am not familiar with the RTC360. You would need to find out which kind of file formats are coming out of the scanner. You might need to use intermediary software like Autodesk Recap.

Revit reads .rcp and .rcs file formats.

HERE there seems to be a Revit plugin (Cloudworx) from Leica that might help you to  load the point clouds directly into Revit.
