How to handle brick wrapping at corner of wall where the adjacent wall is a different material?

As the title states, is there a better way to handle this situation?

Here's a scenario: I have a client that only wants brick on the front of their house. All of the other sides of the walls will have horizontal siding on them. At the corners where the brick exterior and the siding exterior meet, Revit doesn't handle this situation correctly. The horizontal siding will usually just wrap to the front of the house. This is a problem because I want 4 inches of brick to show on the side elevations to show the brick thickness. Alternatively, I understand that you can have the brick wrap the ends of the wall however that will wrap the brick for the entire thickness of the wall. For this example I have a wall type made that shows 4 inches of frame wall and 4 inches of brick as the exterior finish. The brick will wrap the full 8 inches on the side which I don't want to happen. So far I only have one fix for this issue and it's to create an in-place-wall at the end. I usually just give the in-place-wall a small thickness and assign it the brick material. This takes extra time and it's something I feel that Revit should be able to handle without me having the make a workaround. Surely they know that we may want to connect walls with different exterior materials. Is there a better way to handle this situation or am I stuck with my workaround until Autodesk adds the functionality?

In Plan, right click the little blue wall end grip and "disallow join" for both walls. Then drag the one wall so the end is right behind the brick.

Next use the join tool and join the walls, picking the wall with brick second.

Then in 3D of elevation, paint the edge of the brick with the brick material.

Other option if you want the other wall layers to wrap properly in plan view is to model the finishes separately from the rest of the wall and if you turn "allow join" off for the finish walls you can stop the siding behind brick.

The rest of the wall would wrap normally behind the finish wall types.

Sounds to me like you want to Square Off (with the correct Butt order).

Mike.FORM response did exactly what I was wanting. Maybe, I need to change some settings on my walls but the square off and butt options don't seem to show 4 inches of brick on the side profile. Thanks for the response!

Using the Wall Join toggle only works if the wall with brick finish is exactly 4" thick total.  What @Mike.FORM demonstrates is the right way to do it for your condition.
