How to export to FBX without fusing points

When exporting to fbx straight from revit, points seem to get welded together. This is very inconvenient for example when the glass gets fused to the frame of a window or the door get fused to the jamb. The only way i can see to work around this is to edit the original component and split it into sub-components which will export as an attribute in the fbx but this would be extremely tedious and unscalable. Thankyou for your time.
