Tricky.

I think you will need to add it as an in-place mass or roof for 3d and sections. For plan view, you can copy paste the original topo in and split surface to get the exact piece. It will show inside of the building basement so you need to hide it somehow for any views affected.

Creating tunnels in a topo has been in the wishlists for a while.

If the mass suffices for presentation then no need to paste the topo. When I said it I meant to paste it outside of the mass as an actual topo to get the elevation contours.

You can try a difference work flow.

1. Existing topo with Pads .. .( Keep this in LINK A File )

2. New proposed topo, variation, etc ( Keep this in MAIN file )

Main file - - - - -link - - - LINK A

this way, existing topo and pads will never interfere in your proposed

new drawings EVER...

Hi ganesh Thanks for replying.

I tried that way but it doesn't work....

Firstly, I made existing topo and pad to link A File. and then i insert this to New proposed topo.

the result is like this image...

is that a way you said ??

Topo depth (elevation of poche base) is global among native and linked models so that you cannot have one base raised above another.

Proposed topo should be modelled only on those places where there are modification ( fills )
( Existing + pads ) + new topo = final proposed

2. Option : You may keep existing topography completely separate, and don’t allow it to interfere in new design, proposed topography.. in this case you need to model a new topography with pads, changes etc..

New topography + pad = final proposed

It’s hard to integrated two topography to produce final drawings...
