How to create textures on wall?

Is there any way I can create textures that can really have light and shadow instead of a plain finish image set in materials? For example, the grey horizontal pattern plaster on walls of below house as below image.image.png

If you want the siding to project shadow, you may want to look at wall sweep embedded into the wall profile.

 

add sweep.png

 

Once you add those siding sweep, it will look like real siding and it will cast shadow.

Thank you. I checked your attached file, but where can I find your siding? The sweep in the material in grey out either in your file and mine.

To add siding to wall, you have to choose section and then add sweep.
