How to create cutout in roof

I'm trying to cutout a portion of a roof below another dormer, I've already tried to make this one roof but the different eave heights make it very difficult so want to see if there is another easier way

I've attached a picture of the roof I am trying to create the cutout in, any help will be great 🙂

Have you try the dormer tool?

I did try that but i need the entire portion of the roof there gone as it is a covered deck

Below is what the dormer opening tool creates

Use vertical opening

Then pick the edge of the roof

Once you finish, you should be able to create the hole. It is more flexible than the roof opening.

You can create the entire roof + dormer as one roof.

Then use a vertical cut opening to cut the main roof however you want it to be.
