I could not create a new parameter. See below.

Also doesn't work this way. See below:

Can anybody tell me how to achieve my goal? I want to input a total number for any sheet then every other sheet automatically changes. I don't need to input a total sheet number for each sheet. It will save me much time. Thank you in advance.

Create a Duplicate Sheet List and format that duplicate to show ONLY that total number. Place that Schedule on the Sheets in that location.  Get it?

Something like I'm doing here:

Create a shared parameter for the title block label and add the same shared parameter to the project under Project Info category, not Sheets category.

My current problem is that I can't create a new shared parameter. See below. The button New is grey and I can't click it.

You need to Create a shared parameters text file first.  Click the Create Button.

They do provide helpful partial solution. But there are still unknown missing steps to complete this puzzle. I believe the complete solution will be consisted more than 7 steps. One or two steps won't solve the problem. Other steps are still vital. Otherwise I would not post the question here. But thanks for everybody who involve in solving this puzzle.

You still trying to make this in the Family environment? Can't be done.

Make it via a Sheet List in the Project environment -  just like I showed in that Link I posted.

I am sure it is doable. A new parameter needs to be created. That is the only part I have not figured out yet.

I have figured out the solution.

Manage->Shared Parameter->Create a shared parameter text file->family editor for title block->Create->Label->Select the shared parameter->load back into the project

You can create a shared parameter and add it to the title block and the project info but you will have to enter and update the value manually.  Using schedule as @barthbradley suggested updates the value automatically but you will need to copy paste the schedule to all sheets and don't forget to do it when you have new sheets.

Another way is doing it as a footer in a PDF program.

That doesn't solve anything that is even close to what you asked for.  You simply put a custom Label in the Titleblock Family. It's not even linked to a Project Parameter. It's useless.

You are right. I am currently contented in achieving this, i.e., input a number for a sheet manually. Then all other sheets will update this number automatically. I don't have to use this function frequently, actually rarely. So I don't have to spend too much time in researching this function.

I am currently accessible to free PDF program only. It won't help solving this problem.
