IGNORE. Posted in the wrong forum.

Please let us use a Model Pattern as the Cut Pattern for materials in Plan & Section. We are constantly having to override graphics in plan and/or section because the pattern of a wall material that looks good and is legible in one drawing at one scale is not legible in a different drawing at a different scale.

This is not only something that's needed to stream documentation and save time, it also would increase the intuitiveness of Revit. It makes no sense from a user standpoint that you can't use a model pattern as a cut pattern.

Yep! That's exactly what I was talking about on your other thread -- the one regarding the batt insulation.  Simple solution there is to remove the batt pattern from the Material and use the Insulation Tool in select Views.  Overall though, if you are frequently having to override fill patterns, that's where View Filters and View Templates come in handy to help "stream documentation and save time".  😉
