how to copy & paste Filter graphics

Hi,

Does anyone know how to copy paste these?

There is no option to do that. However, you can do it

  1. either by using Dynamo (basic graph using OOTB Nodes)

  2. or by using a plugin that offers various management tools including those for view filters

Depending on what you want to do with them, a view template that controls just the filters might get you where you want to be.

Hello

 

Filters are priortized as per arranged. so the topmost are the dominant and as you go down the consequent filters gets applied to the view.

You may move filter up or down. It can have only one instance.

 

example you can't have a filter saying

" hide particular wall type" and copy paste it and say

" show particular wall type in grey hatch pattern ". 

 

If you go to Filter creation, Revit allows Copy/paste and recreate a particular filter and change the properties or just keep the copy. Probably that will help you have another copy , but I understant what you are looking for defeats the purpose of filters.
