How to convert Precast stair to generic model

How to convert Precast stair to generic model. I would like to make recess in landing for corbel as per the below sketch.

There is no straightforward way. You could export the stair as dwg from the project. Then you can load that dwg in a Revit family. Then you could use the standard family tools to model over (parts) of the stair.

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.

Keep the stair as stair...you do not need to remodel it all

 

  1. Edit Stair >>> Delete the landing >>> Finish sketch 
  2. Model the Landing as a Floor Slab...these you can cut with a void
