How to change Coarse Fill Color

I have accidentally changed the color and I don't know how I did.

I have tried changing the coarse fill color to gray, pink and other very obvious colors to see the change

but it doesnt seem to work and all of my walls are affected despite having different wall types.

deadline is in a few days and i need to change it ASAP

Is the view set to Coarse?

Or, you may have overridden the Cut Pattern in V/G.

but i still cant seem to fix my problem

as you can see, i have changed the coarse scale fill color into grey

i have tried the visibility settings as well

i don't know why it doesn't show the color i choose

Change the Coarse Scale Fill Pattern to solid - you don't have that set in your screenshot. It will give you solid colored walls in Coarse Display.

All else failing - can you share a file?

Your view isn't Coarse so Coarse Fill pattern means nothing.  Check the wall material's Cut pattern.

You are not seeing the walls being cut, just the surfaces on the top or the sides.

They are defined by the materials used by those elements.

I assume this feature was designed to allow the architect to conceal/reveal the materials and components of an element easily by just changing the detail level. This is wonderful as it allows him/her to have control over the presentation and information shown. It also keeps the drawings nice and consistent. Given this, the fact that they have only included it for walls floors and roofs and not stairs and other components seems odd.

Does this mean that we have to manually go through the project and change the fill settings to solid for every item we are cutting through in plan and section, and then, when we get further down the line, we have to go back and restore all of the fills to their original materials? This is really cumbersome. Is there an alternative?

You can create filter to override cut patterns for all or some elements/categories to show them with 'coarse' patterns for schematic views.

Or if you want the same cut pattern for everything in the view, edit View type's Coarse Poche material:
