Why don't you create roof by face from the same mass?

I made the roof from the same mass, but because the wall is sloping at an angle and I need to move the roof a little bit lower, the shape of the wall become wider and my roof is having some gap on the side.

Duplicate the mass and make it lower, then create the roof from it.
