How to assign material data to generic object exported (Export to RVT) from Inventor (2023) ?

Hello:

Using Inventor 2023's export to RVT command exports generic objects directly into a RVT file as generic objects.  It does not create a RFA family for the object(s).  How can I assign material data to these objects within Revit?  The objects do not appear within the Project Browser so I cannot save them, edit them in the family editor, and re-load them.  I am not concerned with the appearance of the objects but am concerned with adding the material type and properties.

Maybe export from Inventor to RFA or ADSK instead until they further refining the new Inventor to RVT function.

Another workaround is to create parts from the elements and override parts material.
