How to assign a global parameter to a set of dimensions?

Hi,

I try to assign a global parameter to a number of dimensions.

If I understand right, the "Label Dimension" Widget should be available after selecting a dimension as shown in the following screenshot:

In my case, however, even after selecting a dimension it is not visible:

Am I missing something?

Thanks,

Dietrich

Sorry for posting twice.  I got an error message after hitting the [post] button - and the advice, to try again in a couple of minutes.  That's what I did...

By the way, is there a way to erase a message after posting it?

Hi!

Global parameters are available only in Revit 2017 and in Revit 2016 R2. What version do you use?
Also, global parameters are unavailable for Revit LT.

Hi Dmitriy,

Thanks for your answer!

> global parameters are unavailable for Revit LT.

I use Revit LT 2017.  Unfortunately my company cannot effort the full version of Revit.  So this is the reason.  Too bad...

I searched the internet quite a while and couldn't find any information concerning the absence of this feature in Revit LT.  This page, for example, rather gives the opposite impression:

  - Global Parameters

Do you know about an internet page with a list of the features absent in Revit LT to which I could refer to in similar cases in the future?

Thanks and kind regards,

Dietrich

Hi, Dietrich.

You can find a complete comparison <on this page>.
Also, take a look <at this page> its include some information about Interoperability between Revit LT and Autodesk Revit.

Hi Dmitriy,

Thank you. I have searched the comparison page before - but obviously overlooked the part about global parameters...

Features > Advanced modeling > Global Parameters: supported in Revit - but not in Revit LT.

Too bad...

Thanks again,

Dietrich
