How is the U value calculated in revit?

In revit, how is the U value calculated for floors, roofs and walls? Can we access these values in the program or are we the ones who have to define them? Is the value of Rsi e Rse defined for each type or is it generic and do we have to rectify the calculations for our values in the situations they are not the same? Is the Rsi value 0,04 or are different values considered for different situations?
