How gray out a parameter

Hi,

I have a family with two yes/no parameters. We obtains a value if one of two yes/no parameter is True.

Is there any to disallow or greyed out a field or parameter when I active a yes/no parameter.

Thank you in advance.parameter.JPG

...sorry.  misread.  In order to gray it out, you need a formula. But, that would lock it down completely.  I imagine that's not what you want.

...Question: does the parameter actually drive a labeled dimension?

You can only grey it out permanently or not at all.

Here is another approach:

The parameter that drives a labeled dimmension is DISTANCE WIRE TO CELLING.

I would like the user can't type anything in the DESIREDDISTANCE WIRE TO CELLING field if the MAGNET OR HINGE parameter is active (True).

Thank you.

No can do.  You could create a text parameter below it that reads "DO NOT TOUCH DESIRED DISTANCE WIRE TO CEILING " when the MAGNET OR HINGE parameter is active (True). Smiley Wink
