Does the door panel family have a swing symbol in it?

Add a Door Swing to the Curtain Wall Door Family.  Maybe use the Door Swing Detail Family from from one of the OOTB Door Families.  Needs to be parametrically-controlled via Instance Parameters though.

No. Open up the panel (double click on it, or right-click and select edit family) and see if there is a swing in the family. I'm guessing there isn't, but there is a chance it could be hidden in by your visibility settings.

If its not there, you can add one and reload it into the project, but you'll want to make it so it flexes with the door if it gets bigger or smaller. If you're not sure how to do that, look up some YouTube videos on making parametric doors in Revit. Welcome to the rabbit hole of making custom families in Revit!

Thanks, I have resorted to finding an existing family and making my own edits!

Its a bit too close to 6pm here to be trying to make custom doors hahah
