is it possible to manage which room tag type is being used in a schedule?
we have tag types that account for gross and net sq ft values.
to be able to assign which tag should be used through the schedule would be a great help.
I am missing a step along the way and I cant seem to figure out how to connect the parameters.
appreciate any help provided.

This might be something you can do with Dynamo, though I'm not 100% sure what your asking. Do you want the schedule to show what tag is used in a given room/area and plan? Or do you want to select what type of tag is used via the schedule? Does the schedule needs to have a cell that changes whether it reads the gross or net area depending on what tag is used?
thanks for the reply
I am not well versed in Dynamo, only I know it is available.
step 1 recognize which type of ROOM TAG is used in a given room
step 2 allow the changing of room tag type in a schedule and have it change in the room view.
we have 6 types in 1 room tag, each serves a purpose for code, net sq/ft, gr sq/ft.
each view would require the correct room tag type to be present in each view based on occupancy/ Code review, Department and Usage etc.
thanks
i got it to populate in the schedule as a selection but not as a live tracking option in the rooms.
but that process was not worth the results
That is not possible because you can use several tags in the same room, as @barthbradley said, tags are view specific elements
