How do I use split element on column?

Hi, I can't use split element on selected column to split it but I can split the beam. Could you please help me with splitting the selected column? Thank you.

It should work with the SL command. You can also create the column at a single level and then replicate to the other levels.

it could be your column is pin/locked? try to unpin and do the split and see if helps. thanks
