How do i make a custom label in Revit LT

Hi,

i need to make custom labels in a titleblock, which will be loaded into a template, then used for projects, where the labels can be edited just like sheet numbers, etc.

I made it as per screenshot:

then i have it showing on titleblock:

but once titleblock is loaded into template it is not visible, or if project is opened with the titleblock:

Please help, as this is frustrating me!

not sure if i was man to pick the right settings, etc. is there a video or screenshots to explain it better?

It is linked to that parameter. So you need to input whatever it is you want in the project info or where ever you associate the parameter in the project.

Create a Project Parameter using the exact same Shared Parameter that you used to create the Label in the Titleblock.

Assign that Project Parameter to a Category.  If the Category chosen is "Sheets", then the Project Parameter Field will be placed on every Sheet created and the user will need to input a value into that field in order for it to show on the Titleblock. 

Or you could choose to assign the Project Parameter to the "Project Information" Category. That way, every Titleblock Label will display whatever value you put into the Project Parameter Field under Project Information.
