how can i change the size of the leader on the tag

i cannot increase the size of the leader of the tag

You need to select the Tag > Properties Palette > Edit Type > Leader Arrowhead drop Down

Arrowheads are controlled in the Manage Tab > Additional Settings > Arrowheads
